I was craving avocados yesterday and made use of them in two yummy dishes.
1. My own version of guacamole:
4 avocados, halved, pit removed and scooped from peel
2 cloves garlic
juice of 1/2 lime or 1 Tbs lime juice
1/8 tsp tabasco
1/4 cup salsa
2 Tbs fresh or 1/2 tsp dried cilantro
salt and pepper to taste
Blend in food processor until smooth
Optional add ins: 1/4 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup shredded cheese
Enjoy as a dip for tortilla chips, veggies or as a condiment.

They’re basically just BLTs with avocado, but I LOVE them. Danny, not so much. I ended up with double avocado and we were both happy.
